Today I still in Jakarta for a visit, just for four days but I already felt the tense and stress in big city. Everything was moving faster and the amount of people were enormous. The traffic was horrible, and the street were smelly.
But the hotel were good though, and I have healthy breakfast that I’ve never tasted before ( actually I was staying on my wife’s business trip hahahha )
But the price was few times fold than Surabaya, Yesterday I was having lunch in a small cafe when the tabs arrive and there goes my precious hard earned money.
And just the same day I have hard prove that Starbucks is actually extorting money from the third world with their brands and image.
( 35000 IDR for lousy latte, and their wifi service didn’t work , darn it )

You’re absolutely right: 35000 IDR for a cup of coffee is outrageous. What is so special about Starbucks anyhow?
You pay for the brand, not the quality of the coffee. A waste of money.

I just want to use the wifi connection,they told me its working but after i bought the coffee and turn on my notebook the connection no where to be found

to be honest, i’ve never go to Starbucks before..
