I was in Bali for holiday last week, well I guess you cannot call it holiday when actually it’s my home .
it just so happen there were two major event for me in Bali , one is my cousin wedding and second was Denpasar Festival that was held in Denpasar city park .
Here is some picture that I took in both of the events
In the opening of Denpasar Festival there was a fashion show and talent contest , and here’s some of the finalist
there were a lot of food stand, the street was clean and when you came at night, this place were filled with lights and people trying various food from local vendors.
My cousin wedding, he wears simple balinese clothes often use in formal ceremony ( not religious one ).
the groom and bride ask for blessing from the father
the guest were served with tea or coffee and cake, in wealthy families they would have had a buffet or food stand for the guest.

Great pictures: gorgeous finalists and wedding guests obviously taking the ceremony ( was it a Javanese wedding by the way?) pretty serious ( which of course it is).
Bali is a great place to be… Maybe next year I will…

it’s a balinese wedding. In java I believe it’s more glamorous like wedding is the greatest ceremony in your life. In Bali wedding commonly didn’t have many guest because the ceremony was held in the morning and the date was not negotiable. But if somebody die people would come no matter what and the ceremony three times larger than a wedding.

yah, tapi ini nikahnya sederhana . kalau yang sudah di kota yah mungkin sama aja acaranya di hotel atau gedung juga.
